Losers remain atop pool league standings Humphreys leads Top Gun play

WINNEMUCCA - Losers continues to hold the top spot in the Winnemucca Pool League standings after receiving one of the two buys in week 20. Losers has a 17-1 record and 214 out of a possible 306 points through 20 weeks of play.

Rack Pack (17-2) remained in second place with a 10-7 victory over Land Sharks and has 214 out of a possible 323 points. Despite its loss, Land Sharks (12-5) moved up to third and has 175 out of 289 points. Club 40 (13-5) had the other bye week and dropped a spot to fourth with 173 out of a possible 306 points.

Sand Diggers (10-9) rounds out the top five with 170 out of 323 points, while Sand Lizards (11-7) is sixth with 160 points.

Bar M Saloon (6-12) is seventh with 143 out of 306 points, and Hole in the Wall (7-10) is eighth with 138 points. Cheers (5-12) is ninth with 129 out of 289 points, and Rehab Group (4-13) rounds out the top 10 with 118 points. Shaft Thiss (4-13) and Ram Rods (2-17) finish out the standings.

In other week 20 action, Bar M Saloon defeated Cheers 9-8, Sand Lizards beat Rehab Group 12-5, Sand Diggers knocked off Ram Rods 9-8 and Hole in the Wall beat Land Sharks 10-7.

Joseph Sullivan leads the individual standings with a 9.50 average and 28 wins.

Garth Humphreys (9.38) leads in the Top Gun standings, while Ted Garcia (9.35) is second. Mike Hughes (9.25) is third, and Jake Roeder (9.12) and Guillermo Garcia (8.82) round out the top five.

To be eligible for the Top Gun standings, a player must have played at least 47 games.
