I am currently researching the early mining history of the Carlin Trend north of Carlin between 1870 and 1965. The areas include the Maggie Creek, Richmond, Lynn and Bootstrap districts. I am interested in all of the prospects or mines but especially Gold Quarry, Nevada Star, Good Hope, Copper King, Lynn Big Six, Lynn Area Placers, Number 8-Blue Star and Bootstrap. I am looking for personal or family histories of anyone involved in prospecting or mining in these areas. I am also interested in any mining records and photographs from the area.
