WINNEMUCCA - The junior golf season got underway this past Wednesday at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course as the youngsters joined with the Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club for a nine-hole scramble.
With over 40 players in the field, the team of Andy Mendoza, Stacy Horton, Austen Rorex, Angelina Mendoza, Regan Metcalf and Frank Landt shot a winning score of 33
Alyssa Dendary, Tatayana Carlson, Tea Novi, Gracie Garret, Ning Landt and Della Domingo tied for second with Gail Piquet, Wes Teague, Zachary Wolverton, J.J. Backus and Tyler Piquet.
