Lita Yvonne 'Anderson' Chelini

Lita Chelini passed away on Feb. 20, 2013. She was born on March 9, 1937. She graduated in 1955 from Pershing County High School. She went to Santa Barbara to become a nurse at Knapp College of Nursing. There she met and fell in love with the cutest guy named Eddie. They have been married for 55 years.

Her greatest joy was being "Na Na" to her three grandsons, Anthony, Garrett and Kristopher. She was actively involved in their lives. Such fun they had.

She also had several nieces and nephews. She always made time for them, Baseball games in San Diego, Universal Studios, zoos and road trips to Virginia City and Salt Lake City. She played all-day card games with her great nieces and nephews. We mean all day, hooting, laughing and hollering card games.

She enjoyed her faith in God at Good Shepard Lutheran Church. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School and playing in the hand bell choir.

We will always be thankful for her loving spirit, the length of life she was granted and the blessing she was to us all. She will be greatly missed.

Lita is pre-deceased by her parents Merlin and Melva Anderson, her son David (19), brother Clifford Anderson and sister Andrea Maxwell. She is survived by her husband Ed Sr., son Edward Jr. (Janice) and her three grandsons, all of San Jose, and her brother James (Jeanne) of Lovelock, Nev.

Lita was a woman of humility and humor; her legacy of Christ's love touched all who knew her.
