Mitchell's artwork is eclectic and vibrant! Her diverse collection of paintings invites you in visually, or invites you to question, think and process her chosen muses. As a former art gallery manager and educator, Mitchell has professed that she has finally found the time to work on and explore her style. In 2004, she attended Great Basin College in Elko and discovered oil painting with instructor Koni Fujiwara. All other painting mediums aside, she has dedicated every spare moment since on learning, being and producing her passion - oil paintings.
In her own words, "Where better to paint than Winnemucca; Winnemucca and the surrounding area is filled with many talented artists of all types and styles and there is a vibrant lively art community right here for all to see and gain inspiration."
