The Pershing County Library hosted a Family Game Night on May 2. The event, sponsored by the Frontier Community Coalition, was started to encourage parents to spend time with their children, said library staff member Pam Munk. Family Game Night will continue every other Wednesday evening until the end of June. She said she would like to carry on the game night past that date but didn't know if there would be funding for the event after June. "We are funded until the end of June," Munk said. "We would like to keep on with Family Game Night, but we'll have to see if we get more funding." The next game night will take place on May 16. Munk said that bingo will be played and that the library has prizes to give away to the winners.
