The Lowry High School JV boys basketball team opened its season this past weekend in Lovelock at the Pershing County Tournament. The Buckaroos opened the tourney with a 33-32 loss to Yerington in a contest that featured two 20-minute running halves. Lowry makes its home debut on Friday, Dec. 19, against South Tahoe.
