Leslie L. Arruti, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 13, 2013. Leslie was born on Oct. 30, 1947, in Albuquerque, N.M., to Carroll and Phyllis Lee. She was raised in Santa Fe where she lived until she became an airline hostess and moved to Dallas, Texas, where she met her husband of 45 years while he was attending helicopter flight training in Mineral Wells, Texas. They were stationed in numerous states and Germany and upon retirement from the military located to Albuquerque, where they lived for the last 18 years.
Leslie is survived by her husband Michael, sons Shawn and wife Ginger, of Las Vegas, Nev., Duane and wife Jennifer, daughter Chez Werner and husband Scott, both of Albuquerque, 11 grandchildren, sisters Marsha Lee of San Francisco, Calif., and Sandra Warrick and husband Phill of Albuquerque.
