Larry E. Ugaldea, 67, of Winnemucca, passed away Tuesday Aug. 9, 2011, at his home of natural causes. He was born on March 5, 1944, in Winnemucca to Juan Ugaldea, Jr. and Marie Christina Egoscue. Larry lived in Winnemucca his entire life and graduated from Humboldt County High School. He worked as a bartender at the Gem Bar for many years before going to work for the City of Winnemucca. He last worked for Hycroft Resources as a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Marie Ugaldea and a brother-in-law, Jim Lowe. He is survived by his sisters, Joan (Larry) Robinson, Josephine Lowe of Winnemucca and Linda (Dave) Dunaway of Boise, Idaho; nieces, Toni Murphy and Jamie Nachiondo both of Elko, Lisa Uriguen, and Chelle Robinson, both of Winnemucca, and Denise Doornek of Boise, Idaho; nephews, Mike Robinson of Winnemucca and Jason Dunaway of Boise, Idaho. He is also survived by numerous great-nieces and nephews.
