Larry Dean Hutcheson passed away at Humboldt General Hospital on Oct. 18, 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Schlicht, his stepchildren Kathryn (Leland) Bonnett, Kari (Tom) Atherton, Don (Mariya) Schlicht, Tina Burgess; his children Sean Hutcheson, Rhonda Dority, Paul (Erin) Hutcheson and 13 grandchildren. Larry is also survived by three brothers, Jerry, his twin Harry (Barbara), Cecil (Karen) and several nieces and nephews.
Larry was born Dec. 4, 1946, to Mildred and Doyle Hutcheson (both deceased) in Slaton, Texas. Larry received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration & Accounting from Texas Technological College in Lubbock, Texas. Throughout his career, Larry was a policeman, a minister, an EMT, a nurse's assistant, a hospital administrator and lastly the chief financial officer of Humboldt General Hospital.
Larry was anticipating retirement, to spend more time with family and travel the world. Although he will be greatly missed, we know Larry is enjoying the ultimate retirement in Glory. A Memorial Service was held at St. Paul's Catholic Church on Oct. 20, 2012. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to: Mr. Parrish, Dr. Li, Dr. Mahendernath, HGH nurses and staff for the care provided and support given during this sad time. Appreciation also to Fr. Jose, St. Paul's Altar Society & Krystal at Albertson's Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will take place at St. Charles Catholic Church, Spokane, Wash., on Saturday, Nov. 3, at noon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Humboldt General Hospital Auxiliary.
