WINNEMUCCA - Chompoo Landt shot a low gross score of 181 to win the Club Championship for the Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club Tuesday at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course.
Gail Piquet was first in the net division in the first flight at 185 and Di An Putnam (196) claimed second, with Terri Kracaw finishing third at 202.
Karen Aldrich took first in the second flight with a 222, Rene Vesco was second with a 226, and Della Domingo placed third with a 229.
Jean Mentaberry shot a low gross of 227 to win the third flight. Cher Alvarez was second with a 251 and Kay Billingsley third with a 254.
Gail Piquet had the fewest puts for the day with 25 on Tuesday, Aug. 30 and Candace Puls had the fewest putts with 24 on Tuesday, Aug. 27.
Piquet was closest to the pin on No. 2 at 10 feet, 9 inches, and No. 5 at 4-2.
