WINNEMUCCA - The Landfill Committee meets Tuesday, Jan. 21 at the Humboldt County Courthouse meeting room #201 at 50 West Fifth Street. Committee members will discuss and possibly take action on items including:
• The Landfill Quarterly Recycling Report and authorization for release of grant funds
• Alternatives to the manner and method of billing commercial accounts
• A request from the Fort McDermitt Paiute Shoshone Tribe for assistance with the establishment of a landfill or garbage collection service using the Humboldt County Regional Landfill
• Miscellaneous matters relating to the Humboldt County Solid Waste Management District including: planning, operation and maintenance-related issues, collection of solid waste from outside the district, expansion of landfill and acquisition of additional land, solid waste fee-related issues, reports from committee members and landfill operator and other related subjects[[In-content Ad]]
