BATTLE MOUNTAIN - A Lander County woman was arrested June 25 for allegedly embezzling $4,272 from Maverik, according to authorities.
An arraignment for Linda Kaye Owyhee Roa is tentatively set for Aug. 5 at 9 a.m.
Roa, 47, was arrested at Maverik, where she worked, said Undersheriff Robert Quick.
Maverik's Loss Prevention department had already conducted an investigation when they called the Lander County Sheriff's Office on June 25. Loss Prevention employees turned their information over to sheriff's deputies, who then arrested Roa at around 5 p.m on suspicion of embezzlement, Quick said.
The report indicates the alleged embezzlement took place between May 1 and June 25.[[In-content Ad]]
