Sheriff's Report The Lander County Sheriff's Office reports the following arrests for the period of May 21 - June 4, 2012: May 21 Tony Fredrick Tudor, of Battle Mountain, was arrested for NHP Warrant. May 23 Joel Eugene Sherbondy, of Lander County, was booked to serve time on a court sentence. Cheryl Lynn Dixon, of Lander County, was booked for Temporary Hold. Arturo Castellanos Parra, of Battle Mountain, was arrested for 1) Drive w/ Revoked Drivers License; 2) Driver Fail to Obey Traffic Control Device. Gerardo Guizar-Rodriguez, of Battle Mountain, was arrested for 1) DUI, Above Legal Limit, 1st; 2) Open Container in Vehicle Alcohol. May 25 Erik Alan Hobert, of Penn Valley, Calif., was arrested for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol; 2) Failure to use Due Care. May 26 Simpson Davis, of Battle Mountain, was arrested for 1) Battery/Domestic Violence; 2) DUI, Above Legal Limit, 1st. May 27 Joseph Leroy Hunt, of Battle Mountain, was arrested for DUI, Above Legal Limit, 2nd. May 29 Sally Lang Stoddard, of Denver, Colo., was arrested for 1) Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; 2) Possession of Less than One Ounce of Marijuana, (1st); 3) Open Alcohol Container in Vehicle. Francisco Javier Castaneda, of Battle Mountain, was booked to serve time on a court sentence. May 30 Matthew Raymond Martin Marizza, of Battle Mountain, was arrested for Purchase/Consummation of Alcohol by a Minor. Justin Jeffrey Kiser, of Carlsbad, N.M., was arrested for 1) Non Resident Driving Privileges; 2) Basic Speed 10 over Limit. Shawn Michael Paul Harner, of Battle Mountain, was arrested for DUI, Above Legal Limit, 2nd. Gaven James Gange, of Battle Mountain, was arrested for Purchase/Consummation of Alcohol by a Minor. Christopher Michael Stubbs, of Elko, NV, was arrested for Failure to Appear After Admission. Nadine Marie Denherder, of Sparks, was booked for Civil Protective Custody-Alcohol. May 31 Fauna Renee King, of Battle Mountain, was arrested for Domestic Battery, 1st. Jesus Martinez Cardenas, of Battle Mountain, was arrested for Probation Violation. June 2 Antonio Miranda, of Battle Mountain, was arrested for 1) Attempted Driver Disobey Peace Officer; 2) Failure to Yield at Stop/Yield Sign; 3) Driving on Suspended/Revoked Drivers License; 4) Reckless Driving, Disregard for Safety. Nancy Kay Bean, of Benson, Ariz., was arrested for Battery/Domestic Violence. June 3 Florence Bunny Stensgar, of Battle Mountain, was arrested for DUI, Above Legal Limit, 1st.
