The Lander County Sheriff's Office reports the following arrests for the period of June 23 - 29



July 8



Kathy Linda Bricker, of Battle Mountain, was arrested for battery.



Anne Ashley Morrison, of Battle Mountain, was arrested for probation violation, driving with a suspended drivers license and operator - proof of insurance required.



July 9



Javier Francisco, of Battle Mountain, was arrested for battery/domestic violence, carrying a concealed weapon, and ICE hold 48 hours after bailing charge pending.



Lewis Shawn West, of Battle Mountain, was arrested for driver disobeying peace off, reckless driving disregard person, and operating an unregistered vehicle/trailer/semi.



July 10



Mathew Edward Nugent, of Winnemucca, was arrested for failure to appear after admission.



July 13

Javier Francisco Castaneda, of Battle Mountain, was arrested for violation of extended protective temporary hold - EPO required base.



In the Justice Court of Argenta



July 14



In the matter of Timothy Hansen, the defendant, having been charged with the crime(s): battery, defendant entered a plea of no contest and was fined $412.



July 15



In the matter of Vernon Green having been charged with the crime(s): discharging weapon where person might be endangered, the preliminary hearing was waived and the case was transferred to district court.



In the matter of Bryson John, the defendant, being charged with the crime(s): 1) possession of drugs which may be introduced into interstate commerce; 2) unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, the defendant entered a plea of guilty to both counts and was sentenced to:1) 180 days with credit for four days and176 days suspended upon conditions; 2) 180 days suspended upon conditions.



July 16



In the matter of Jose Assumpcao, the defendant, being charged with the crime(s): dog running at large, the defendant entered a plea of guilty and was fined $195.



In the matter of Todd Holly, the defendant, being charged with the crime(s): 1) possession of drug paraphernalia; 2) MIP, the defendant entered a plea of no contest to count 1, guilty to count 2; and was sentenced to a fine of $150 for count 1; sentenced to jail time for count 2 -180 days with credit for five days and 175 days suspended upon conditions.[[In-content Ad]]
