Combined tax revenue for the month of December 2013 was just released by the state. The figures show Lander County down 14.9 percent from December the previous year. This December's total was $28,479,237, - last December's total was $33,473,654. For the current year to date, Lander County's combined tax is down 26.7 percent.
While Lander County recorded a combined tax drop in December, it was one of seven counties in Nevada that recorded an increase in taxable sales for the month compared to December last year.
