Gene Marr II and Shelby Legarza are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Taylor, born Oct. 25, 2011, at 8:35 a.m., at Humboldt General Hospital. She weighed 5 pounds, 7 ounces. She is the couple's first child. Maternal great-grandparents are George and Judy Legarza of Battle Mountain. Paternal grandparents are John Dean Marr and Sherry Bunn of Winnemucca, and Pam Marr of Lebadon, Ore.
