WINNEMUCCA - Rene Vesco shot a score of 34.5 to lead the way in the first flight of the Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club Mutt and Jeff tournament Tuesday at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course.
Linda Dufurrena was second in the first flight at 37 and Chompoo Landt was second at 38. Lori Warnert was first in the second flight with a 30.5. Della Domingo was second at 36 and Cher Alvarez and Karen Aldrich were third and fourth, respectively, at 37.5 and 38.
Dufurrena and Vesco had the fewest putts on the day with 30 apiece.
Landt was closest to the hole on No. 2 at 16 feet, 4 inches, and Gail Piquet was closest to the hole on No. 5 at 5-0.
