WINNEMUCCA - Dominique Frearson shot a low gross score of 91 to win the first flight of the Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club Low Gross/Low Net tournament Tuesday at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course.
Vera Mullins was low net in the first flight at 69 and Laurie Pluemer (76) was second.
Lynda Walton led the way in the second flight with a gross score of 99, and Candace Puls and Ellen Aker were first and second, respectively, in the net division with scores of 72 and 74.
Jean Mentaberry shot a 118 for first in the third flight, while Lori Warnert was first in the net division with a round of 82 and Kris Crawford was second at 84.
Mullins had the fewest putts with 27 and Karen Aldrich had a chip-in. Nina Smith was closest to the hole on No. 2 at 14 feet, 4 inches and Roberta Rothwell was closest on No. 5 at 10.9.5.
