WINNEMUCCA - Gail Piquet shot a low gross score of 90 to win the first flight of the Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club Low Gross/Low Net tournament Tuesday at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course.
Lynda Walton was low net in the first flight at 74.
Rene Vesco led the way in the second flight with a gross score of 107, and Auda Boyle was first in the net division with a score of 70.
Kay Billingsley shot a 109 for first in the third flight, while Jean Mentaberry was first in the net division with a round of 77.
Billingsley had the fewest putts with 25 and Karen Aldrich, Mentaberry and Billingsley all had a chip-ins.
Piquet was closest to the hole on No. 2 at 20 feet, 6 inches and Candace Puls was closest on No. 5 at 5-10.
