WINNEMUCCA - Dominique Frearson shot a low gross score of 89 to win the Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club Gross and Net tournament Tuesday at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course.
Nina Smith was low net in the first flight with a 73 and Terri Kracaw was second at 76. Bev Upshaw was low gross in the second flight with a round of 105, while Jean Mentaberry and Lisa Weber were first and second, respectively, in the net division at 71 and 74.
Betty Cannon was low gross in the third flight at 118 and Joan Neilson was low net with a 78. Kay Billingsley was second with an 85.
Neilson had the fewest putts with 28 and Kracaw, Smith and Candace Puls each had chip-ins. Lori Warnert was closest to the hole on No. 2 at 28 feet, 7.5 inches, and Frearson was closest on No. 5 at 2-11.
