Eight ladies braved the cold temperatures of Tuesday for the first tournament of the season for the Winnemucca Ladies' Golf Club.
Lynda Walton shot a low gross score of 42 to win the Eclectic Nine Holes tournament. Chompoo Landt was second at 49. Lori Warnert was low net with a round of 33 and Carole Doughty was second with a 40.
Warnert had the fewest putts on the day and a had a chip-in along with Pam Cannon and Walton. Walton was closest to the hole on No. 2 at 55 feet and Warnert was closest on No. 5 at 16-3.
The Winnemucca Ladies' Golf Club plays every Tuesday at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course. They are always looking for new members.
