WINNEMUCCA - Gail Piquet shot a low gross score of 43 to win the first flight of the Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club best nine tournament Tuesday at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course.
Vera Mullins was low net in the first flight at 31.5.
Candace Puls led the way in the second flight with a gross score of 49. Karen Aldrich claimed low net honors with a score of 33.
Joan Neilson was low gross in the third flight at 57 and Auda Boyle was low net at 36.
Nina Smith had the fewest putts with 29 and she also had two chip-ins. Kris Crawford was closest to the hole on No. 2 at 19 feet, 2 inches, and Doyle was closest on No. 5 at 23-4.
