WINNEMUCCA - Champoo Landt shot a low gross score of 95 to lead the way in the first flight of the Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club Beat the Pro tournament Tuesday at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course.
Terri Kracaw was low net in the first flight at 71 and Carole Doughty was second at 73. Linda Dufurrena was low gross in the second flight with a 106 and Candace Puls was second at 109. Karen Aldrich and Lori Warnert tied for low honors at 77.
Lori Mitch (113) was low gross in the third flight and Jean Mentaberry (80) and Joan Neilson (80) tied for first in the net division.
Puls had the fewest putts with 27 and Della Domingo and Kay Billingsley each had a chip-ins. Gail Piquet was closest to the hole on No. 2 at 19 feet, 11.5 inches, and Mitch was closest on No. 5 at 16-0.
