The Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club hosted their annual Couples Tournament last weekend at Winnemucca Golf Course. A field of 68 players from northern Nevada and California competed in the two-day event.
Jeff Patterson and Heather Patterson took the top honor in the gross division of the first flight. Mark Carlson and Shirley Hanzlik were second, Cameron White and Stephanie Wade placed third and Jake Weber and Lisa Weber finished fourth.
Ken Mullins and Vera Mullins finished first in the net division of the first flight. Frank Landt and Chompoo Landt placed second, Ed DeMeza and Kyle DeMeza were third and Rick Longhurst and Peggy Longhurst placed fourth and Don Kracaw and Teri Kracaw were fifth.
In the second flight, Roger Wade and Karen Aldrich led the way in the gross division. Galen Hope and Pamela Hope were second, Jeff Putnam and Di An Putnam finished third and Paul Meckley and Nita Doyal were fifth.
Tim Billingsley and Kay Billingsley were first in the net division and Dan Shea and Jamie Shea were second. Gus Duncan and Beth Amos finished third, Jim Jenista and Jean Mentaberry placed fourth and Dave Dalton and Judy Dalton were fifth.
The tournament celebrated its 12th year of play and the Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club would like to thank pro Joey Dendary and his crew as well as the local businesses that supported the tournament.[[In-content Ad]]
