Nina Smith shot a low gross score of 98 to lead the way in the first flight of the Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club Ace of Aces tournament Tuesday at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course.
Di An Putnam finished second in the first flight at 103. Terri Kracaw was low net in the first flight at 69 and Ellen Aker placed second at 80.
Candace Puls was low gross in the second flight with a 107 and Lori Warnert was second with a 114. Carole Doughty was low net at 75 and Rene Vesco was second with an 81.
Jean Mentaberry (118) was low gross in the third flight and Kay Billingsley (78) was low net.
Kracaw and Doughty had the fewest putts with 27 apiece. Puls was closest to the hole on No. 2 at 7 feet, 1.5 inches, and Warnert was closest on No. 5 at 15-8.[[In-content Ad]]
