It was our good fortune to be assisted in a tremendous way by one of your local businessmen and his friends. Eddie Booth and his friends Todd Goodale and Kurt (great guy from California) saved the day on Oct. 1, 2011.
My brother and his son and myself were at the end of my nephew's successful cow elk hunt on a very large mountain, many miles away from our vehicle, with dwindling water supplies and waning energy. My brother discovered Eddie on the same hillside where my nephew downed his elk. At my brother's request for a ride back to camp since Eddie's vehicle was well within packing range, Eddie Booth's response was "absolutely, we will be glad to help!" Great news at a very tough time in our day. Many hours later, Eddie, Todd, Kurt, my brother, nephew and myself were all delivered safely to our camp, approaching midnight.
Eddie Booth, many thanks go to you and Todd and Kurt for your assistance and may we always stay friends. Winnemucca should be proud to have such admirable characters in their populace. Thank you doesn't even begin to express our gratitude for the kindness you showed us at a very difficult time. You rock!
