To: Kids, parents, law enforcement, school district;
Kids:
Where are you going in such a hurry that you forget to STOP at the appropriate signs?
Why is it that you feel the need to peel out in the dirt parking lot & cause dust, rocks, etc. to fly in the air?
When is it your right to throw all your trash in the streets of these neighborhoods?
When you took your written/driving test at the DMV and got your license did you not take anything you were taught serious?
You are behind the wheel of a killing machine. Think that every time you get behind that wheel. What would you do if you killed someone while driving recklessly?
Parents:
Why do you buy your kids fast, expensive cars to drive?
Why not give them an old, beat up one to drive their first year?
How many of you pull a sneak attack on your kid & really watch them drive. It might shock you at what you see.
What would you do if your child hurt someone by his actions behind the wheel of a car you gave them.
Law enforcement:
Why are there not patrol cars up at that school before, after and at lunch?
Why not install cameras on the STOP signs along Kirkway to see what those kids are doing?
Please do not tell me you do not have the manpower or the funds.
School district:
Have you thought about staggered lunches?
What about a closed campus?
Why not pave that dirt lot they park in, put speed bumps in, provide trash cans, have a patrolman there writing tickets for reckless driving, etc.
I see every day how kids drive in and around that high school. Is it going to take someone getting killed before anyone takes this seriously?
I will be watching you.
