WINNEMUCCA - The game times for tonight's home freshmen and varsity football games between Lowry High School and Truckee have been changed and moved back 30 minutes.
The freshmen will now kick off at 5 p.m. with the varsity matchup beginning at approximately 7:30 p.m.
The varsity game will be an early indicator of how the Division I-A North will play out this fall. Truckee has won the last four Division I-A state championships and 47 of its last 48 games. The only was a 7-0 defeat to Fernley last year.
However, the Wolverines lost all 11 of their 2012 defensive starters to graduation and they have a new coach this season.
Lowry is coming off a school record 10 wins in 2012 and has played in the last three state semifinals. The Buckaroos have never beaten the Wolverines in league play.[[In-content Ad]]
