Kenny Menicucci passed away on June 16, 2012, leaving behind a beloved family and many friends.
In 1925 Kenny was born in Marseille, France, to Emanuele and Gina Menicucci. The beginning tensions of WWII forced the Menicuccis to relocate to the Tuscany region of Italy where Kenny lived until the age of 19. Kenny then migrated to the United States to live and work on his uncle's ranch in the Lovelock Valley. Later Kenny studied to become an electrician and retired from Eagle Pitcher Mines.
In 1964 he met and married Carrie Hyde - his wife of 48 years.
Kenny was a dedicated husband who also enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting, golfing and watching a good professional boxing match.
He was preceded in death by his wife Carrie Menicucci in January, 2006 and will be greatly missed by his family Willis Hyde (Janet), Marla Caballero (Ron), Veeta Rasco (Chuck), Vanette Cooney, Don Hyde (Sandy), and cousins Roy and Gary Quilici and their extended families.
In honor of Kenny's wishes, a graveside service will be held for his immediate family. Arrangements by Smith Family Funeral Home-Fallon.
