1943 - 2013
Kay Shearer passed away Oct. 28. She had suffered from back problems for many years. She is survived by her husband Vince, son Rob Jack both of Lovelock and her daughter Wendi Jack of California.
Kay always had a positive attitude and had many friends.
She retired from the Pershing County District Attorney's Office after eight years, a job she loved.
She was very proud of the 12-acre parcel the Shearer family donated to the Boy Scouts with the assistance of Todd Plimpton.
Special thanks to Linda Whyte and her Cub Scouts for keeping the dream alive.
Kay enjoyed her volunteer time and friendship with people at the Senior Center.
