J. Carmen Kofoed of Winnemucca Publishing welcomed a generous donation of $500 from Rhonda Zuraff, with Newmont Mining Corp., for the upcoming Just Desserts fundraiser. Just Desserts, set for Saturday, Sept. 14, will benefit the Humboldt County Library's Bookmobile. This afternoon and evening of fun will include scrumptious desserts, most donated by local businesses and residents, plus a host of game prizes, raffle prizes and silent auction items donated by local businesses and residents.
