The annual Emelie Dillon scramble was held this past weekend that featured a mix of youth golfers and adults for the event. Dillon, who is 96, helped grow the junior golf program in Winnemucca for a number of decades as was also a long time member of the Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club. The foursome of Cam White, Stephanie Wade, Chad Peters and Cal Peters won the tournament with a score of 58. Chris Mendoza, Andy Mendoza and Angelina Martinez were second, one shot behind the winners. Cole Erquiaga, Tristan Cassinelli, Marquette Cassinelli and Joe Dennison were third at 60.[[In-content Ad]]
