Battle Mountain First Baptist Church 2013 VBS Program was a huge blessing. The 2013 theme was "Jungle Jaunt." Forty-five children from kindergarten through fifth grade attended. Church members wrote and performed skits each morning for the children who acted out the daily message. Each day the children attended Bible class to learn of the daily message, worship class where they sang and performed action songs, craft class with fun activities and Recreation. The daily messages were "One Amazing Creator," "One Miraculous Provider,""One Powerful Healer,"'One Living Savior," and "One Lord of All." The children were given a gospel salvation message each day and on the last day, parents attended the closing and viewed the closing skit with a salvation message. The children performed all the songs and actions they learned throughout the week. VBS was blessed with each child and parent that participated. This year we were blessed with much help from Mississippi as the Proclaimers, a mission team, came to help in VBS and lead evening revival services. Church members, staff, church youth group and family from Lake City, Calif., helped every day to give each child a VBS experience that we pray will impact their life. We are already planning next year's VBS.
