Joint meeting Wednesday to discuss marketing strategies for Airport Industrial Park

WINNEMUCCA - The Humboldt Development Authority will meet on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Winnemucca City Hall, 90 W. Fourth St.

The meeting begins with the call to order, Pledge of Allegiance, public comment and possible approval/amendment of the Dec. 14 meeting minutes.

Scheduled items include the possible appointment of Bob Shaw of Computer Tamer to fill the vacant "Retail" seat on the HDA Board and a joint meeting with the Airport Board and Regional Planning Commission to create marketing strategies for the Airport Industrial Park.

The board will also discuss its course of action relating to the Governor's Office of Economic Development and AB449's desire for the creation of Regional Economic Development Authorities.

The board will also review and possibly approve any bills and invoices and review and possibly approve the HDA budget for Fiscal Year 2012-13.

Also scheduled is a staff report on activities and a budget update, along with Economic Development Strategy Reports.
