John Equels, passed away on April 16, 2013 at Humboldt General Hospital with his son at his side. John was a resident of Winnemucca for nearly 4 years. Prior to that he was a resident of Henderson, Nevada where he resided with his family for over 10 years. He will be sorely missed.

How do I sum up 2 years of Junior High, 4 years of High School, 33 years of Marriage, 2 Sons and a Grandson in a small obituary notice...I can't. Instead I will simply say Thank You for being part of my life, both of our Son's lives and our Grandson's life, YOUR FAMILY. Our marriage had Peaks and Valleys, but most of all peaks. One thing for sure, Family never leaves family. Husband, Dad, Papa, you're already missed. Your unique laughter, Your smile, Your touch, but we know where you are going and what you will be doing. You will be performing the task of preparation for YOUR FAMILY....and we, we will know when we are called upon, we will have you there waiting for us...YOUR FAMILY. We loved you then, love you now and will forever love you.
