Jerry Laurence Munk Jr. passed away at his home on Nov. 9, 2014.
Born Jan. 27, 1955, in Lovelock, Jerry was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and son. He is survived by his wife, Antonia (Toni) of Lovelock, son, Jason, of Reno, and daughter, Andee Campbell of Winnemucca. Jerry is also survived by his loved grandchildren, Lucy Munk, of Reno, Cordelia, and Kassandra and soon to be grandson, Kenneth Campbell, of Winnemucca. He leaves behind his mother, Audrey Munk, of Lovelock, sisters, Denice Davis of Lovelock and Danette Morgan of Gardnerville, brothers, Tom of Reno and Jeffrey of Lovelock.
Jerry had a passion for his family that will continue for generations to come, along with his passion for hunting. He was highly involved in his community as a youth baseball coach and umpire as well as being a member of the Lovelock Volunteer Fire Department for over 15 years.
He is loved by many people as he touched the lives and hearts of all who were lucky to have known him. He will be loved forever by his family and friends that he leaves behind and will be missed for eternity. May God rest his soul and let his light forever shine on through his family.
Services will be held on Sunday, Nov. 16 at 1 p.m. at Miesekothen Hall in Lovelock.
