James W. Hunter, 98, passed away peacefully on Oct. 12, 2013, at his home in Lovelock, Nev.
Bill was born, June 15, 1915, in Modesto, Calif., and survived by son, Jim, of Santa Rosa, Calif., and many friends, including long time caregivers, Marie Lopez and Mitch Montieth, both of Lovelock. He is preceded in death by his wife, Bernadine.
Bill was a long time general contractor in both California and Nevada and owned and operated real estate holdings in Lovelock and Winnemucca. Bill and long time friend, James Anderson, of Winnemucca, graduated together from Orestimba Union High School in Newman, near Modesto, Calif.
Internment will be in Modesto, alongside his wife Bernadine, and being handled by Lakewood Funeral Home of Modesto. No services are planned in Lovelock.[[In-content Ad]]
