James Irving Kendall

James Irving Kendall, 48, passed from this life on Nov. 23, 2013, at Renown Medical Center in Reno, Nev., surrounded by his wife Stacey and daughters Jocelyn and Crystal. James suffered a stroke.

James was born June 21, 1965, in Winnemucca, Nev., to Olga Jean Schubert and Jimmy Ray Kendall. James lived in Winnemucca most of his life and married his wife Stacey Lynn Kendall.

James worked for Maga Trucking and Crane Service for over 15 years. He attended Cheyenne Aerotech in Cheyenne, Wyo., and received a degree in airframe and power plant mechanics. He loved going boating in his Sangar flat bottom boat, riding his quads and going on motorcycle rides with his wife. His favorite activity was going trap shooting on Sundays with his dad.

James is survived by his wife Stacey Lynn Kendall of Winnemucca; his daughters Jocelyn Jeanne Graham and Crystal Lee Kendall both of Reno, Nev. His father Jimmy Ray Kendall of Winnemucca and three grandchildren; Dakota Lee Roach, Tanner Shane Roach and Tavian James Roach, all of Reno; two brothers Chad Kendall and Jordan Kendall of Reno and sister Jana Sites of Portland, Ore.

James was preceded in death by his mother Olga Jean Schubert, his grandparents Robert Irving Kendall, Norma Taylor Kendall, Doc Verner and great grandparents Emelia Sutton and James Sutton.

A viewing took place Saturday Nov. 30, 2013, at Albertson Funeral Home in Winnemucca, Nev. He was then transported to Winnemucca Cemetery for interment on the back of his lowboy by his father Jimmy Kendall and Randy Maga.

A celebration of James's life followed at the Maga Trucking Shop, 4505 West Winnemucca Blvd., in Winnemucca.[[In-content Ad]]
