James Edwin Love of Battle Mountain, NV went home to be with our heavenly Father on September 8th, 2012. James was born on July 30th, 1938 to James Joseph Love and Zelfter Clark (Carlton) in San Francisco, CA.
James was preceded in death by his father James Joseph Love and his daughter Cynthia Anne Love. He is survived by his wife Kathleen Love of Battle Mountain, NV, his siblings Nancee Heath of Baker, OR, Carl Love of New Albany, MS, Paul Love of El Dorado Hills, CA, and Steven Love of Little Rock, AR. His children James Edwin Love II (Kathy) of Reno, NV, Kayla Love-Koseck (Joshua) of Battle Mountain, NV, and Breanne Wilson (Keston) of Spring Creek, NV. His grandchildren Nicholas Love, Joe Blakely, Christian, Justyce, Brady, and Sophia and his great grandchildren Declan, Dante.
James moved to Battle Mountain in 1980 with his wife and children where he started his mining career at Duvall. He retired from Newmont in 1998. After his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. They were his pride and joy. On March 10th, 2011 he was led in the prayer of salvation by Carmen Peterson and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. We are at peace knowing our daddy has gone home to be with Our Heavenly Father. See you soon.
