Obituary

James Edward Hall, Sr., age 63, of Winnemucca, Nev., formerly of West Virginia, passed away Jan. 27, 2015, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nev.

Mr. Hall was born on Jan. 23, 1952, in West Virginia. He was the son of the late Erby Solomon Hall and Eva Graceland Hilwig Hall. He graduated high school in Welch, W.Va., and shortly thereafter married the love of his life, Francine Warner Hall. He had been an underground coal miner in West Virginia. He was employed with Barrick Gold at the time of his death as an underground miner in Nevada.

Additionally, Mr. Hall was preceeded in death by six brothers, Walter, Donald, George, Melvin, Thomas and John Hall, all of West Virginia.

Mr. Hall is survived by his wife of 43 years, Francine Hall, of Winnemucca, Nev.; one daughter, Graceland Hall Heruska and husband TSgt (retired USAF) Richard E. Heruska, of Seattle, Wash.; one son, James Edward Hall, Jr.; and wife Christine K. Hall, of Sacramento, Calif.; four sisters, Virginia Ward, of West Virginia; Emily Davis, of Ky.; Patricia Carter, of West Virginia; and Mary Sterling, of N.C.; five grandchildren, Bo James Solomon and Savannah Francine Rayne Heruska, of Seattle, Wash.,; Morgan Danylle, Jacob Allen and Cheyenne Kay Hall, of Sacramento, Calif.; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
