James Burton was born May 15, 1931. He passed away peacefully in Elko, Nev., June 4, 2013.
James is proceeded in death by James Burton Jr. (son), Bob Burton Sr. (father), Nona Hall Burton (mother), Irene Burton Weiss, Bob Burton Jr., Robert Burton, Bill Burton, Russell Burton, Charolotte Burton and Ruby Burton.
He is survived by Jessica Mortensen (daughter), Jeanie Elquist (Las Vegas), Amy Geehold (San Francisco, Calif.) , Reenie Burgess (Las Vegas) Pearl Berry (Cotati, Calif.), Betty Koska (Winnemucca), Rosie Duncan (Elko), Jack Burton (Fallon), two grandchildren Danielle Mayberry, George Mayberry and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service June 22, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Battle Mountain Cemetery.
