Monday, Oct. 3, proved to be a fun-filled day at Jacob's Well, as eight contestants entered the Pie-Eating Contest. No entry fee was required, just an appetite! Participants James Carson, Arturo Serrano, Joe Youngblood, Brian Doney, Dana West, Braden McIntosh, Ian McRae and Bret Hetland battled for first place. Ian McRae took first place, eating 3¾ of chocolate pudding pies and winning a $25 gift certificate to Walmart. Hats off to volunteers Ruby Bryant, Donna Combs and Trish Hanson, who worked hard to keep the pies coming!
