CARSON CITY - This week is School Choice Week in Nevada and across the country. More than 40 events are planned across the Silver State, in addition to 5,500 events nationwide. Gov. Brian Sandoval recently proclaimed Jan. 26-Feb. 1 as "Nevada School Choice Week."
The week gives students, parents and teachers a chance to raise awareness of the different types of educational options available to families.
