WINNEMUCCA - It was considered the worst winter in 60 years. The snow fell and kept falling. A good foot overnight in this case. It's obscured that now classic car so we can't really identify the make or year.
The frustration of its owner is timeless. We all know what it's like to come outside and have that much snow to sweep and clean off a vehicle. There's about two or so feet of snow next to that poor soul. So neighbors would have to help her clear a path so she could drive her car away.
At least the digging wasn't too difficult. Winnemucca was up to date for this time period. The town had a snowplow and used it. The roads were kept clear through much of the town during this storm and the several that came after it.
