Irvin Henry Carver left us on Sept. 27, 2012, to go to his final resting place at the young age of 86. Irvin was born on Feb. 24, 1926, in Marietta, Ohio, to Samuel and Elizabeth Carver. After leaving Ohio, Irvin traveled to various locations before settling in Lovelock.
Irvin was a man of many talents. In his younger years he worked as a certified welder and as a mechanic for Ford Garage. Irvin's love for electronics brought him to opening his own business Irv's Radio. Irvin loved life and enjoyed helping others.
Irvin is survived by his three children, Sharon Carver-Bender of Colorado, Irvin "Joe" (Cathy) Carver of Lovelock, Randy (Lisa) Carver of Missouri, brothers Edward Carver of Pennsylvania, Larry Carver (Suzanne) of Ohio, sisters Martha (Tom) Simon and Alberta Ortiz all of Ohio, grandchildren Chrystal Carver of Lovelock, Sara Carver and Adam Carver of Missouri and several great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at 11 a.m. with burial at Big Meadow Cemetery. Lovelock Funeral Home handled arrangements.
