WINNEMUCCA -An alarm at Reliable Hardware, 930 W. Winnemucca Blvd., was tripped by an intruder on Oct. 14 at approximately 6 a.m. According to a press release from the Winnemucca Police Department, officers were close to the premises and did respond to the business very quickly. The intruder's activities were disrupted and he/she fled the area.
Personnel from the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office also responded to the area to assist in the search for the intruder. Two transients were discovered in the area but were released shortly after contact with law enforcement. The investigation continues.
