Winnemuccans queued up for free flu shots on Oct. 29, and Humboldt County Community Health representative, Susie Esquivel said 1,018 people were inoculated with the vaccine. Humboldt General Hospital, HGH EMS, Winnemucca Police and volunteers from Lowry High School and the Frontier Community Coalition assisted with the POD.
