WINNEMUCCA - Humboldt County commissioners will meet beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Monday with just a few items on their morning-only agenda.
After the administrative report and commissioner reports, at 9:45 a.m. they'll consider a variance application from the Willard Garvey Revocable Trust to reduce the required minimum lot size in the M-3 zoning from 2.5 acres to .25 acres; a .25 acre parcel would then be transferred to the Orovada General Improvement District for continued use as a water tank site.
At 10 a.m. NV Energy has a request for a grant of easement for facilities on Winnemucca Mountain. At 10:15 a.m. road matters are scheduled.
At 10:30 a.m. there will be a presentation of certificates of recognition for the sheriff's office and dispatch center from the office of the governor. And the commissioners will consider a request by the sheriff's office to hire a central control supervisor.
At 10:45 a.m. the co-chairs of the State Emergency Response Commission will be at the meeting to discuss Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) issues of non-compliance with federal and state laws.
At 11 a.m. commissioners will work on developing goals and objectives for the county administrator and determine the process and forms to be used to conduct a performance evaluation of the administrator.
