Hubert Linden Crannell, 97, of Winnemucca, passed away Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012. He was born Oct. 3, 1914 in Hudson Falls, N.Y. to Luke and Carrie Crannell. Hubert completed the eighth grade at the Hudson Falls Public School. He married Leulla Weaver on Dec. 17, 1943 and they lived for 13 years in New York and then moved to McCall, Idaho, where they lived for seven years and then moved to Winnemucca and he has lived there since. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. He also served in the U.S. Army from 1941 to 1946.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 20, 2012 at the Winnemucca Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Albertson Funeral Home.
